Now on tour: DW Counts Down To Kindergarten
This 20 minute, participatory play helps families with 4-year-olds get ready to make the transition to Kindergarten. DW is joined by her younger sister, Baby Kate, her older brother Arthur, the Tibble Twins and Grandma Thora, as she learns about the people who will help her to be safe and successful at school. DW Counts Down to Kindergarten will be offered at about 30 events for families throughout the neighborhoods of Boston.

TOURING
We tour to overcome barriers for under-served audiences. We work hard to keep our fees affordable for sponsoring organizations and to get funding that can support our outreach.
Our participatory style of theater presents opportunities for family audiences to play roles on stage with our actors. We strongly believe that our interactive style is especially engaging to children and magnifies the surprises and excitement unique to live theater.
Book one of our shows:
The History and the Adventures of Tom Thumb is a lively 40 minute comedy with audience participation.
Folktales East & West is a 30 minute show that dramatizes three traditional tales from European, Chinese and Native American cultures.
Folktales North & South is a 30 minute show that dramatizes three traditional tales from The British Isles, The Upper Amazon Region, and Nigeria.
All City Stage productions are for family audiences. They are performed by two professional, adult actors and have lots of participation from audience volunteers.
